I am a visual artist who has studied traditional oil painting for five years and now engage in mix media. I maintain an acute awareness for the viewer’s aesthetic experience because of painting training since I was very young. I choose specific objects with personal resonance from my daily life to show my concern. My works discuss subconsciously binaries, such as reality and illusion. The interaction between light and space, the process of perception and the participation of vistors embodies the direction of my exploration. My paintings, sculptures, and installations ask the viewer to reengage with how we see and percept.
